Around midday on 20th February, at the merging classroom, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus convened the working conference for all teachers, other known as the prevention and control conference designated for infectious disease in spring. In attendance were all faculty and staff from the Junior High Section.
In the first place, Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Lu Dan summarized last week’s work tasks, stressing that nine days since the beginning of the new term, all the work has been on the right track. Therefore, many thanks for all teachers’ hard work. Later on, Principal Assistant Lu proceeded relevant arrangement and laid emphasis on this week’s lecture attending, students’ further promotion on formative education as well as quality curriculum.
In the second place, Principal Assistant Lu Dan emphasized the significance of improvement on rules and regulations in school. Specifically, this semester’s night classes adopted the assessment and rating system, which required all teachers should perform their duties during the night classes to raise efficiency in the self-study at night. In addition, the Junior High Division made adjustment in terms of punch card, work and rest regime in that teachers were supposed to clock in within the stipulated time and ask for leave in advance. Principal Assistant Lu hoped that every teacher should attach great importance to checking attendance and labor discipline to take the lead and consciously abide by the work rules.
In the third place, Principal Assistant Lu Dan conveyed the spirit of the working conference with regard to the H7N9 bird flu infection circumstances in downtown areas in addition to contagion prevention and control work in spring. Principal Assistant Lu demanded that all teachers fully recognize the significance and urgency of prevention and control on infectious disease in spring to go about their respective terms of references. Only in this way can we make the prevention and control work fully implemented. Furthermore, all teachers were supposed to make the morning and noon inspection practicable and establish the standing book system in each class to show quick reaction and manage treatment in a timely manner in case of emergencies.
Overall, this informative conference not only enabled all teachers to unify further understanding, but also made clear-cut striving directions in the subsequent phase to actively promote the comprehensive implementation of education and teaching work.
